This course is intended for registered Real Estate Salespersons who completed their education through the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) College and wish to enroll in the Broker Program. It is required only for applicants who cannot provide proof of completion of the Commercial Real Estate Transactions course. Upon successful completion of this course and fulfillment of all other Broker Program admission requirements, you will be eligible to write the Broker Qualifying Exam.
This course contains approximately 70hours of study materials which you will have up to five months to complete from the date that you enrol in the course.
This course introduces learners to the unique requirements and processes for listing, selling and leasing various types of commercial properties—including office, retail, industrial and agricultural properties—as well as brokering the sale of businesses. Modules explore a variety of topics, including: commercial construction; requirements for different types of commercial transactions; and, how to prepare contractual agreements.
Once you complete this self-paced online course, you will be able to purchase the 3-hour exam through Meazure Learning. The exam costs $120, payable directly to Meazure Learning.
