Planning Your Progress: Simulation Session 1, Course 4, and Simulation Session 2
Once you have passed Course 3, you are more about halfway to completing the Pre-Registration program. To help you stay on track, we recommend you plan your time carefully between Simulation Session 1, Course 4, and Simulation Session 2. Simulations sessions are live, facilitator-led practical sessions.
You can go from starting Simulation Session 1 and completing the Pre-Registration Program in approximately 6 weeks if you plan properly!
Below is a sample schedule, from Simulation Session 1 to Course 5, if you are keen to complete your program at the fastest pace possible.

Step 1: Register for Simulation Session 1
- Review the schedule.
- After you have passed the Course 3 exam, register in the Simulation Session 1 you want to attend. Be sure that you can attend 100% of the 5-day, facilitator-led sessions. (See Attendance Directive).
- Plan to write your Simulation Session 1 Exam promptly after completing the session.
Step 2: Register for and Complete Course 4
- Once you have passed your Simulation 1 exam, you can register for Course 4.
- Course 4 is an asynchronous online course requiring approximately 70 hours of study time. Although each learner is different, this translates to approximately 3 weeks of part-time study, or 4 hours a day for 18 days.
- After completing the course content, you must write and pass the Course 4 exam.
Step 3: Register for Simulation Session 2
- After successfully passing your Course 4 exam, you are eligible to register for Simulation Session 2, a 3.5 days facilitator-led session.
- Simulation Session 2 is typically scheduled approximately 5 weeks after the completion date of Simulation Session 1.
- We strongly recommend planning ahead to ensure you can complete Course 4 and its exam within this window.
