Acquiring a broker registration will allow you to transition to the role of a broker of record. This course will help you identify key considerations for opening a new brokerage or acquiring an existing one, the possible types of ownership, the process for registering a brokerage with RECO, potential brokerage organizational structures, and the individual roles within the brokerage. Finally, the course will discuss how to identify and manage potential risks.
